SENIOR COACH - 2025 

ALEX KATSAROS - SENIOR WOMEN'S COACH

We are excited to announce the appointment of Alex Katsaros as the 2025 Senior Women’s Coach. A highly respected football professional, Alex brings over two decades of experience in South Australian and Victorian football.
After playing with the Sturt Football Club, he later played amateur football in Victoria and South Australia representing Melbourne and Adelaide Universities.

Since 2017, Alex has been actively involved in our girls’ football program at Glenunga, including leading the U16 girls in 2024. Additionally, he has coached both junior and senior girls’ teams at Loreto College since 2019.

A proud father of three daughters—each having played Aussie Rules—he continues to support his daughter Portia, who will play in our U18G team in 2025. Passionate about women’s football, Alex is eager to build on Glenunga’s strong tradition in female footy as he leads the club’s new women’s team.
